The Philly Zoo Zebra
April 7, 2008 by peirceorange
Because the slogan for the Deleware Valley Carcinoid Connection is If you here hoof beats, think zebra's... , and the national symbol for Carcinoid is a Zebra, the forum was going to take part in an adoption of the philledelphia zoo's Zebra (one of the two)sometime in october we will have a downloadable copy of the adoption certificate. please post your thoughts on this.
Rules and Regulations
April 7, 2008 by peirceorange
The rules and regulations for the phillycarcinoid forum are quiet simple. If you break a rule on a post the post will be deleted, and you will be given an infraction warning. once you,ve had three warnings ypur acount will be deleted by an administrator. The rules are as follows
1. No fowl or obscene language
2. No unrelated posts
3. No post under 10 characters
4. PLEASE no gruesome pics
5. No making a new thread for a topic that already exists and is less than 1 year old.
6. No creating a thread with: "This will probably get closed but..." or something to that effect. If you think it will get closed, then ASK A FORUM MODERATOR OR ADMINISTRATOR.
7. No posting pictures larger than 500 x 500 Pixels, your post WILL BE EDITED, if you do it too much your posts will then BE DELETED
8. When a thread is started, the first post must contain content relivent to the thread. A simple "title says all" will not do. If you are asking for an opinion, please provide your own. Please provide some information. Threads which the original post does not contain any relivent information will be closed and the thread creator will be given an "extra words" warning.
9. THIS IS NOT A DOCTORS OFFICE! Do not ask for medical help! See your Doctor!
What to do if you need help or found a bad post
1.Found a bad post? Don't like the poster, or is the poster being a jerk? Report them. It's like a citizen's arrest.
2.Have a bigger problem than just a post? Tell one of the forum mods.
3.Something not working? Feel that you were punished without reason? Tell an admin.
Stuff that makes Admins and Mods angry:
1.HORRIBLE SPELLING - No one is perfect, and we get it, but if you don't spell correctly no one can understand what your post is about, and then people will flame you for it. Please, spell it right the first as accurately as possible. Otherwise we will tell you to change your ways if it gets out of hand.
2.AIM speak: An occasional "LOL" or "ROFL" is okay... but every 3rd word? I mean is it really that hard to hit an extra couple keys to fully type out "you" as opposed to "U"?
3. leeching images: Save images you want to use to your desktop and host the image at imageshack.us
4. One Word Answers. There is a reason for the 10 character limit. You simply CANNOT contribute anything meaningful to a post in just 10 characters. Your opinion matter's but we need to know WHY!
Once again thank you for obeying the rules of our forum.

Thank you for visiting the philly carcinoid forum. We are a one of a kind forum for anyone who knows anything about carcinoid. This forum is a project designed to compliment a non-prophet organization, (Deleware Valley Carcinoid Connection) that is trying to raise carcinoid awarness. We operate out of the West Chester Area School Disrict in PA and are currently working on ways to promote the site. One of our ideas was entering the doodle for google competition with a carcinoid related title. We would like to note that this forum is for carcinoid only and all users should read a copy of the rules befor posting anything. Please use your better judgement in our forum. We cant wait to see your posts! Thank you.
